Do you have any accommodation recommendations or deals?
Heck yes we do! Basecamp Resorts Revelstoke & Hive & Co Property Management are both offering discounts to racers this year. Discount codes will be available to racers in their confirmation email.
For other accommodation options, check out Tourism Revelstoke’s website.
-
Do I have to be an advanced rider to participate?
Nope. You can absolutely participate at any level but we do recommend that you are able to ride 30+ km and spend the day on your bike with a lot of elevation gain. Trails will be intermediate/advanced, but we encourage everyone to come out and give it their all. If you want to walk a more difficult section, that is totally fine.
Check out past courses to get an idea of the trails we’ve raced on, as well as distance and elevation.
-
Oh yeah – wtf is an enduro?
Good question; we recommend you take a look at this Pinkbike intro to enduros. Basically, the uphills are untimed, and the timed parts come in downhill stages. You can ride with your friends, and at the end, we collect all the stages’ times to find a winner.
-
What do I need to know if I’ve never raced before?
The downhill timed sections will have riders starting at timed intervals – 30 seconds between each rider. We ask you to self seed at registration; if you know you’re gunning it, go out first. If you’re going to relax and cruise with friends, we recommend you let others go first.
If someone is coming up behind you on a timed downhill section, that means they’re faster than you, so please step aside as soon as your can and let them go by. If you’re the one coming up on someone else, please yell out “RIDER” to let them know you’re coming.
-
Can I use an e-bike?
Nope, this race is pedal-powered only.

Tell me more about the after party!
